Received a call from 1-206-279-1758 stating that I had a issue with the IRS. I was unable to contact the IRS to confirm the phone call. My past experience with the IRS is they will notify you by mail if there is a problem. This was obviously a scam.

I just got a robocall and recorded message from the IRS on my alleged "fraud" and asked me to call them back to discuss the matter before they download my case to the US Attorney's office. No personal information was included in the recording, but are ppl gullible enough to call this number back? Report it to the authorities!

This is a SCAM. I answered the phone and an "automated message' came on stating that this is the IRS and they are filing a claim and to call this number back. I called and the guy pick right up on the first ring stating "Internal Revenue". I immediately told him do not call this number again and that this is a scam. He hung up instantly. Just know...the IRS will always give you a toll free number to call.
