This call was to inform me I have 9000.00 coming to me from the us government. All I had to do was go to a store and use money gram or have it routed to my account . I knew it was a scam right away. I hung up !! but if my husband was here he would of played this scam out.

Received a text, the person did not identify themselves by name, only that they were somewhat related to a school. They wanted an identifying number and I inquired in a separate text back asking their name as I don't give out my information to people I don't know. So far, they have been unresponsive. Meanwhile, others on the text, a supposed group text, have sent back their information. I texted in the chat that I saw everyone's numbers, and asked for this person to identify themselves by name. Then I removed myself from the conversation. I don't have time to play detective and we live in an age where people will still hand out their information without questioning who they are "talking" to whether electronically, by text or in person.

Scam - fake student loan (I don't have a student loan)

7187832412 SCAM! Con Ed Imposter! This guy claimed that my ConEd wasn't paid and that the electricity would be shut off by tomorrow. I told him that I was sure I paid it and he repeated himself in his thick accent then abruptly hung up.

Be careful not to answer this phone number .It's a scammer, it's phishing the phone numbers that are working and the other not. They do this all day. Once they gather the phone numbers that working, he'll sell the list of those phone numbers to the third party

This number left a voicemail using automated robot voice saying that my SSI was compromised and there was suspicious activity. Yeah... ok. Beware.
