When I called back after the threatening message they left for me, they identified themselves as Atlanta Recovery. They indicated I had s payday loan and I worked and lived at these bogus addresses. Someone (Chase) had filed a complaint against me for depositing a check. ALL BOGUS!!!!

Ironically, I received one of these cards stating that their records indicated my auto warranty is expiring and I need to contact them asap. I work at the Secretary's office, Dept. of Transportation for our state and we oversee the DMV here. I don't own a car at this time due to medical issues. We work closely with the Governor's office and the AG's office for the State as well. I left a message for these folks giving the Record ID that was on the card as verification and informing them that they should be expecting a call from the AG's office due to the scam they're initiating. I'm passing pictures of the card (front and back) to the AG's office Monday morning. I gave my name as well so they're free to google me as my info is online for verification.

They said I owed a debt to Wells Fargo from a closed account that had a negative balance. I owed 995.81 BUT I have a Wells Fargo account right now. I played with them for awhile and asked them to serve me then. After I was sent to the “lawyers” voicemail I called Wells Fargo they said they had no information about what they said and to ask for PROOF OF DEBT ACCOUNT NUMBER. Then call whatever place they say you owe and talk to them. Total scam
Total scam. Google- nationwide document delivery service. This is just a new number for that scam. 888-394-9560. It is against the fair debt collection practices act to call third parties, which this company does. Aggressive scare tactics. Don’t fall for it. They can use google to find sites that name relatives, relatives phone numbers. Last four of your social. Here are some questions to ask if you feel like playing along. 1: nature of there company 2:who they represent 3: their professional license number. 4: amount of debt owed 5:date it was incurred. Or case number, county, judge it’s in front of. Contact the FTC and attorney general.
Just got a call from national document delivery and said to call thy number as they are processing a court filing. They claim I owed money to Wells Fargo. I called Wells Fargo and they have no record of it.
Total scam-- tried to scare me into calling back saying that their (unnamed) department was coming after me and if I didn't call back they would proceed without me.
