Got a call from them saying that my SSN was suspended due to suspicious activity. I hung up and called back, the machine said that it is a nonworking number. I also looked it up and the IRS or the like will not call you for any reason. These calls are a scam.

SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. They called every 3 minutes. I blocked the number but then they called from a different number. I called back to one of the numbers and what I got that that number is not working, doesn't exist. In one other number after 30 seconds a woman said "HELLO". Usually when you call customer services they said "Thank you for calling ...., how can I help you?" I am tired of continuously blocking numbers. Also IRS and SS they send letters first.
They left a message saying they were from the Social Sececurity Administration and my number has been suspended because of some suspicious activity. I'm smart enough to know that your ss# doesn't get suspended. They called twice within 30 minutes and if I want to learn more press 1 and call back. 888 numbers can be international numbers. I have credit karma, so I keep a close watch on my personal info and nothing "suspicious" has come up. I'm SURE this is a scam to get my ss#. Do NOT answer this number.
