Received a call too, offering me a grant of $9800, but had to get it from a money gram or Western union. They were also from Washington D.C. People that called me sounded from India or Afghanistan.

Ya I got the same call too. It was $9800 and it's a fucking scam. Don't call the second number cause I did. Is it coincidence that some drained my bank account this morning and the bank needs me to come in with two forms of ID to talk about it? Maybe, maybe not.

I have been getting about 4 calls a day from this number! I finally answered and they said the Federal Government was giving me grant money. So I looked up the number they wanted me to call,and this is it! A scam. I knew when I was talking to them!

I just got this call to for a 9800 dollar grant so I listed and a bullsit lie scam here!! The guy I talk to was James Wilson but sounded Indian or Afghanistan to the fullest!! Don’t answer the call!!

I got the same call. Original number was 800-111-2026 and 800-111-2025 callback was 202-596-6498. They wanted to direct deposit to my bank or credit card or pick up at a store to which I requested that they mail a check. They insisted on electronic deposit. Gave them bogus personal info and never called the callback number. Glad to see my instincts were right about a scam.

I called the 2025966498 # after the 18001113031 # called about a 9800$ grant from the gov't. I said "don't call my phone with your stupid ass scam. Take my number out your fucking system". The person replied "you called me idk what you talk about stupid mudderfuhcer". You can't scam a scammer stupid Indians.

But first i have to buy a card to Google play for 250$ and then they told me that If i want my money i need to give him my account number and etc. After 10 minutes she told me that she need another card for 650$ and then she can send me the money on my account because it's a price for a fee. Haha nice one! But I pretended its a scam and I didn't give them any cent.
