Got a call from the number 203 242 7597 telling me to give a call to 1 800 249 7097 about "federal student loan forgiveness due to covid 19 protocols/allowances expiring soon." Incredibly sketchy call but definitely enough to make a student in hard times stop to think about it. Likely that the numbers will be used in the future (or currently) for different types of targeted scams. Stay safe.
