they've been calling me for the past week or so more than once a day and it gets me so annoyed. I want to answer the call but I feel like its a scam, I just want to know who these people are and why they're so annoying

They call EVERY day, This is a new phone number for me. They leave a message only 1/2 of the time asking for a female that I don't know at all. I tried to call them to explain they do NOT have the right party but NEVER get anyone live, left a message. Guessing debt collector.
