My brother in law got a call from these people, and wasted their time for over an hour, but same deal.. pretending to be from Microsoft support, wanting access to his computer, and actually told him that Microsoft scans every windows computer in real time for viruses. Totally bogus. Don't give these people anything they ask for.

Guy with Indian accent called me from "Microsoft Support" and I knew right away it was a scam. Told him BS and hung up. Searched and found others that have been called as well. Be careful, there are crooks everywhere!
