Scum scam letter trying to seem like they are a debt settlement company. Got letter from them that sounds vaguely threatening, says “Negotiations Department “ with no company name. Says ***Failure to Respond “, then explains how “failure to respond and making your minimum monthly payment will likely result in interest accruing on your unsettled credit...” blah, blah, blah. —all BS. I’m gonna call them anyway just to F with them. I like to waste their time and let them think I buy into their sh**. They usually hang up on me once I ask them how they sleep at night scamming people out of their life savings—proceeded usually by me using some expletives I can’t repeat here. Total scam.

Scam. First clue: USPS Standard postage. Legal stuff comes First Class. (You can claim you always discard "prsrt std" unopened.")
Second clue: "our company ..." No company name at all on the envelope or on the letter.
Read the fine print. Translation: We aren't anyone you have to worry about.
