Caller claimed to be calling from Readers Digest telling me that I had won a customer appreciation award of $50k. Then asked if I was going to be home as the cheque would be delivered today. Then said he’d have to call me back and did about 10 minutes later. On the second call he asked where I worked. I claimed I was retired and the line went dead after that. Definitely a scam.
