I received a phone call from this number which I didn't recognize so I let it go to voice mail.
They left a message saying my ssn is better being suspended for suspicious activity and to press 1 if I want more information.

Sounds pretty fishy, and by the looks of it I'm not the only one getting these types of phonecalls
