Someone named Rihana Maswien texted me from this number, and also from a gmail address, in response to a Craigslist ad I posted for a Samsung TV. Agreed to pay full price, plus $50 for storage until shipping can be arranged. Insisted on paying by check, and including the shipping cost in the amount of the check. The check was for 1,650, the cost of the TV plus storage was 225. I was instructed to deposit the check, then pay the shipper the difference, presumably 1,425. I since learned this is a well-known scam. The check, which I'm still waiting for, is likely a fraud. If I attempt to deposit it, it will bounce, but not until AFTER I've paid the shipper his fee, essentially out of my own pocket.
