"Charles Watson" left a message on my do-not-call-listed cell phone claiming that we had requested information about a business plan. Since we were unable to reach him directly (voicemail only) we merely warned him (a) not to speak so fast, (b) that he had obtained our number by mistake, (c) that it was probably from a list of illegally obtained persoinal data, (d) that depending on what he was actually selling, he might be gulty not merely of a do-not-call violatiuon but in fact interstate fraud, and (e) as an apparently very young man he might do well to pursue a more honest and rewarding career in another field, one that would not carry with it the risk of conviction and imprisonment. I doubt it'll do any good, but if enough people tell him the same thing, maybe he'll wise up. I'd hate to see so personable a young man become some hardened prisoner's nonconsensual catamite.

Although a search of this number via Google.com brought up several medical organizations using box 66 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, the caller, "William", purported to be from a Windows systems group in Portland, Oregon. He would not tell me the name of his company, only that they could fix what was wrong with my computer, whether it was a PC or a Mac. He would not stop talking when I told him that there was nothing wrong with my computer, to take my name off his list, and that he was harassing me. Rather than continue a shouting match I hung up.

The number is listed for this "business" https://www.colorwalker.net and it's legitimacy appears questionable at best. The typo riddled website boasts about how ethical and charitable it is while maintaining that they're a non profit located in New York City. However, the only address that can be found for "them" by searching is the following: 8369 NW 66 ST. MIAMI, FL 33166, which is clearly not NYC. I also couldn't find any record of the claim that they are a registered non profit and can't understand why they use a metro Atlanta number. The "business" barely has any internet presence besides this # which shows up on multiple lookup sites like this one, likely due to their non stop calling. Seems shady to me.
