I received the following voicemail from phone number 28 1468 7885 when I didn’t answer. “Calling you from the legal department the very second you receive this message. You need to leave your work aside so that we can discuss about your case and take necessary action on this matter in order to connect federal agent, press one, and you will be connected to the concerned Department. If we don't hear from you, then we will be forced to take legal action against you press one and you should be connected to the concerned Department.” It wasn’t a person. It was a machine. When I called the number back late at night a lady answered and said she did not call anyone. It looks like the scammers are cloning other people’s number for outgoing calls. Crazy!

281-648-6289 is a telemarketer from Benefit Adviser. Any number with a FRIENDSWOOD caller id, if not recognized will probably be a telemarketer. I i ignore all calls marked with FRIENDSWOOD and if they leave no message i usually just block them. I get a great deal of telemarketer calls from FRIENDSWOOD. I verified this one by calling bsck. The automated answering machine gives you the option to be put on their internal DNC list.

This person has been calling me randomly 2-3 times per day for the past 3 weeks, doesn't leave a message. I finally called them back and they kept hanging up on me. When I got someone on the phone after 4-5 calls, they claimed they never called me and don't know who I am. Not sure what they're doing but it's obviously no good.

This number called me saying they were a federal agent... gave me a false badge number and asked for my Ssn... I said absolutely not, they proceeded to tell me I had to that they were a federal agent and said they would give me their social security number. I told them I could care less what their Ssn is and the. They hung up. Skam!
