Called me as a "courtesy" to "inform" me that my factory warranty on my vehicle had recently expired. Considering my vehicle is 12 years old, I'm assuming this is a scam sales call. my car's got 200k miles on it and I work at a car dealership. Save your time; Blacklist this number. If you're unsure how to do so contact your phone's service provider.
Also had the silence thing jeremiah mentioned but the line did not disconnect, as I live and work where service can be spotty i stayed on the line even after some electrical .
I'm not sure if it was an actual human, they spoke right over me so i'm guessing it's an autodialer with a prerecorded message.
NEVER GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER AN INBOUND PHONE CALL.
IF YOU HAVE BUSINESS TO DO(and they contacted you) POLITELY TELL THEM YOU WILL CONTACT THEM, HANG UP, GOOGLE THE NUMBER, MAKE SURE YOU'RE BEING SAFE!
