Scam. Claimed to be calling from CRA. Threatened imprisonment if money was not paid. Absolutely disgusting, preying on the elderly, immigrants and vulnerable. Should be locked up. Reported to Police and CRA.

When you call the CRA a random indian person does not answer the phone and say "hello CRA speaking". I immediately hung up the phone as it was obviously a very poorly organized scam. Usually when you call CRA there are several digital prompts before you speak to a person. This number is a scam! Do not fall for it.

They asked "who does your taxes every year?". I asked "why do you care?". They should have planned some smarter conversations for the scam to work!
