"Hello my name is Diego Sanchez. Please call 888-401-9148 or press 1 to schedule delivery of your legal documentation. Delivery was noted as Failure of Service for your [?] Once again, to avoid any further legal action call 888-401-9148."
This is a scam. Legal documents are sent Registered Mail. They require a receipt signature. They do not simply fail. Further, if you are likely to get such a service of legal consequence you would know it is coming. There would be other letters, calls, etc.
There is not a practice that is used to make this sort of contact.
Assuming, for argument sake, that there was, the caller would name themselves, the organization they are representing, they would note a case file number for you to reference and... they would identify you, personally, by name.
This call has none of that. replying will only let them know that you are a legitimate phone number and get your number re-purchased by numerous other dark web scammers. You can report the number to your local police or state agency. They will not be able to to do much as the numbers are probably computer spoofed IP phone numbers originating our of India or Romania or some other place that laughs at decency.
Block the number and go on with your day.
