Commenity Bank (NY&Company) called from 18553344197 (on caller id it came up as 19133123280 - kansas city, ks), they left a message on voicemail that stated : "Hello this is Mr. Diamond from Commenity Bank NY & Company, we are asking that you get legal representation if you havent and call us back at 18553344197 x 1277038 before 3pm today." - so, i contacted an attorney Lemberg law 12036532250, and they asked that I call him back, and find out who he is trying to get a hold of and to tell them if it is wrong number to cease and desist calling me since this is a wrong number. So I called Mr. Diamond at the above number and extension, and asked to verify who he was trying to reach, and he mentioned my mother's name. So I told him that is my mother, and you should not be calling family members to reach my mom. Then I informed him that this is NOT her number and to stop calling my cell. He rudely asked if I will pass the message, I said stop calling my number. the attorney was on 3-way listening. He said if they call again from a different number, to call him back and under FDCPA
if they continue to harrass me they can be fined up to 1000 dollars per call. So, just sharing with everyone.
