I've gotten several calls from 929-290-0386 in the past few days. When I finally answered, a woman said she was calling from Medicare and wanted to know whether I was having trouble with my back. From the background noise, it sounded like she was calling from a call center. Also sounded like she was reading from a script and I wasn't giving her answers that her script was designed for. I don't know whether this is a scam or a telemarketer, but I've never gotten a call from Medicare before.

I have been getting the same calls and it was a foreign woman calling saying she was calling from medicare. This has happened several times, I asked what department of medicare she was calling from, now I am wondering if pain management is selling phone numbers? However Sonia this is a scam, medicare would not call you to ask if you are in pain, they have you're records.

I too have been receiving calls from that number. A woman was on the line who said that the backbrace I was interested in was approved by Medicare and that she could ship it out to me. I told her I did not request or inquire about a back brace and according to her she was following up on a medicare claim. I did surmise that this was a scam and hung up on her. They still call - usually around dinner time but I don't answer hoping that they will give up.
