Called, said nothing, hung up

I keep getting calls from this number, it rings twice they leave no voice mail. and when I call back it goes to recording, DCA ....

I got 2 messages at 1:05 am Stating BMO Alert ‘ Please follow the steps: www.bit.do/bmo3005’

I got a call from this number and told me something about my SIN number and that I did something wrong. It’s like an answering machine that was talking. Even asking me to talk to an officer to settle it or something but I ended the call. When I tried to call it back, it won’t even ring.

Robot call, long pause before the voicemail kicked in so that's why some comments below think it's a blank voicemail. Something about student loans for a person not even associated with my throw away cell#. Obvious scam and poorly executed. It always amazes me how stupid these scammers are, but what is truly amazing is how stupid people are to even fall for this BS.

It's a scam. Robotic call to inform an arrest warrant is pending.

Call from Redcliff AB. 4035488544. Hang up call. Generic answering machine on call immediate call back. Multiple simultaneous calls can be made to this number all of which go to the voice mail which in no way identifies the caller.

Westjet call scam.

Chinese caller speaking a recorded Chinese message. This call with a recorded message in Chinese has been happening often for a few months now. The first calls came from different area codes. When I was able to do a reverse lookup on the initial toll-free 888 number it was for a business in Ontario. I called and left a voice mail. They called back the next day said they were not making the calls and did not know who was using their number. Shortly after, the calls started coming from Alberta numbers. I'm thinking of talking to police about this as I have no idea what their recorded message is saying and they just keep calling from what shows as different, untraceable Alberta phone numbers and they won't stop.
