BEWARE - SCAMMMER This number sent out a scam text message to my cell supposedly regarding a refund from Fido due to a billing error. Except I'm not a fido customer. I got a call at 3:39pm today - as soon as I picked up the receiver and said hello - I got put on hold for about 30 seconds with elevator music on the background! I never heard anyone respond or automated voice - then it hung up on me. Definitely not legit.

This call is a scam caller. Automated message claims that this is the last request for payment for past due balance on Entergy bill. I knew it was a scam b/c I had recently paid my bill in full before the due date. I called Entergy to inquire and inform them. They stated that they do not make outgoing calls to customers for bill payments and/or unless customer requests a call back. Please be aware do not make any payments or press any prompted numbers. Just hang up immediately.

The number was blocked but they immediately called from the 8662560327 number and said they would resolve debt for half price. I requested documentation and informed i would not pay anything without verification. Never got it and weeks later they called again to say they would proceed with noncompliance. Its a total scam. Do not give any info to them instead file a report against them and the number calling
