asked my name and said they were from Scotia Bank - I told them I'd phone the bank myself before they could say anything else.

Fax tone, and multiple calls

I received call from this number many times, nobody speak. So, I blocked this number.

Scam. Claimed to be calling from CRA. Threatened imprisonment if money was not paid. Absolutely disgusting, preying on the elderly, immigrants and vulnerable. Should be locked up. Reported to Police and CRA.

Says he works at Ontario credit lending but they tell me 100% the money will be in my account so sent in down payment and they wont answer the phone so it's a scamming fraudulent person who is also working with " the owner" and that # is 343-998-2760

this number called me as Canada Revenue agency. He put muslim prayer to the phone and said he is isis fighter.

Seems like they are fishing for their next target based on their voicemail claiming that charges are filed for tax evasion, tax fraud and that a return call should be made to their fraud line. The call originate from (613)604-0949 with a female robotic voice leaving message and number to call. (613) 495-0167.

Scam - they should be strung up

I received a bogus phone call this morning at 9:26am from 1-613-416-8502 claiming it came from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). They left this message: "This message is from Canada Revenue Agency. The reason behind the call is to inform you that there is a lawsuit that is getting registered under your name. So we want you to call us back at our department # which is 613-416-8502. I repeat 613-416-8502. Do call us back otherwise we may issue an arrest warrant under your name." I googled the phone number and many have already searched for the same number and declared this number as a scammer. I know for sure that CRA does not do this and I am very sure that I do not owe CRA anything.

I got a call from his number , saying it was Canada post and there’s something for my husband at a post office other than what we usually use..? Has anyone else had this? I called the shoppers drug mart post office and they said they’ve never heard of Canada post contacting clients like this, and so did another post office. So, I guess I’ll ignore it? They said we have to show a drivers license. Sounded legitimate but..?
