When I called back after the threatening message they left for me, they identified themselves as Atlanta Recovery. They indicated I had s payday loan and I worked and lived at these bogus addresses. Someone (Chase) had filed a complaint against me for depositing a check. ALL BOGUS!!!!

Ironically, I received one of these cards stating that their records indicated my auto warranty is expiring and I need to contact them asap. I work at the Secretary's office, Dept. of Transportation for our state and we oversee the DMV here. I don't own a car at this time due to medical issues. We work closely with the Governor's office and the AG's office for the State as well. I left a message for these folks giving the Record ID that was on the card as verification and informing them that they should be expecting a call from the AG's office due to the scam they're initiating. I'm passing pictures of the card (front and back) to the AG's office Monday morning. I gave my name as well so they're free to google me as my info is online for verification.

Claims to be a law firm Gleeson & Associates based in Fontana, CA. The call came from a different number, but 877-610-5710 is the number they give to call back. Person who called goes by the name Danielle Stone. Voice mail never stated law firm name. Threatened lawsuit over supposed $1,900 medical bill from 8 years ago (6 yr statute of limitation), sent a settlement contract through DocuSign, refused to provide proof of original debt, claimed to have mailed info in February but has no proof (returned certified mail, etc.), asked for SSN even though she claimed they had checked credit to confirm enough credit was available to pay the bill immediately, wanted payment via certified check. Called original debtor and they have no record of debt. Researched Gleeson and found they use a UPS Store PO Box, no lawyer profiles on website, the phone number listed on their website is a fax, they use Onvoy to buy temporary numbers to call people with, no such entity is registered with the CA Secretary of State and not listed with CA Bar Association. When calling her out on these things, she threatened court and hung up.
