Their was a pop up on my IPhone and said that I was in danger of a virus. The pop up wouldn’t allow me to do anything on Safari. Their number also popped up and said to call them. I called and they acted as if they were “Apple Customer Care”. They asked me to buy a $50 ITunes card and they would send me a link for a virus removal software, type the pin in and the virus would be removed in about 5 mins. They ended the call by giving me a case reference number to call back when I had purchased a card. I quickly did an Apple search to see if IPhones could get viruses and found that they couldn’t. This number was a scam. I closed Safari, refreshed the app, went back to safari and quickly closed the open webpages (takes several tries; repeat as necessary). My phone now works completely fine.

same thing happened to me like Gemini I just got a call from a restricted number and the lady said I had to call 18883996048 so I did his name was DANIEL he said I owed a bank 2200.00 for bad checks in 2006 .well I work at a bank and if that was the case I wouldn't be a premier banker because I would of been in collections or check system which neither has happened and I never had usa bank I googled the name and it doesn't exist he said I have 24 hours to settle this or I'll be sued in civil court and pay court fees .Thank you for the comments above and I hope this also helps beware of his scamming .

Left a message for "Denice," saying she had one day to gert back to them regarding a complaint. No denic lives here, and when I returned the call i got voice mail after about 20 rings.

Same thing just happened to me but they said they were from the magistrate advisors office *daniel* who claimed I was being sued for breach of contract and malicious attempt to defraud. They will verify with last four of social. There’s no way in hell this is legit telling me totalling in 10,000.
These jerks are falsely claiming to be contacting you about a court case against you. There is no court case. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION. This is all a scam. Check with your family members, they may have contacted them too trying to get information about you (as they did with me).
